Open a new world of breath, energy, and movement with QiGong, a mind/body practice with the power to enhance mood, improve sleep, and decrease stress. Rooted in ancient wisdom, these practices are designed to cultivate balance, strength, and calm.

Laurence is a practitioner and certified teacher of the Evidenced-Based Qigong (EBQ) program developed by Dr. Yang at the Center for Taiji and Qigong studies.

The EBQ curriculum includes:

  • Static qigong movement  exercises in standing, lying-down, and sitting postures

  • Traditional dynamic (moving) qigong;

  • Agility drills (moderate cardio footwork, coordination, and agility training

How does this approach work?
A recent NIH-funded study using Yang Yang’s Tai Chi and Qigong programs demonstrated significant positive effects on sleep and anxiety. When you improve strength and balance, you also see an improvement in your physical, mental and emotional sense of well-being.
